It does keep my toothbrush clean and prevent any small animals from crawling all over them. Honestly, it's my worst fear, even when I keep my house clean, ants always coming into my house or flies or anything else, just the thought of having one of them put their thick bodies on my toothbrush makes me nauseous.

The case is big enough to hold my toothbrush. This doesn't always happen - I travel a lot and get ergonomic toothbrush that seems many toothbrush cases can not handle.

They open separately in the middle and have a small hole at one end for drying, possibly to prevent toothbrush molding or something else. I really like to use these types of boxes to store my toothbrushes.

I really like these toothbrush cases - they don't have the plastic look a lot of the cases have, the ventilation hole is a good touch because you can put your toothbrush in after use and let it ventilate and dry. The color is also very good, not too dull or shiny.
